Management

The S.V. Educational Trust was established in 2002 by its Managing Trustee Smt. M. Navaneetha to promote quality education for students in Bengaluru. To meet the noble objectives of the Trust, The Regency Public School was established at Vidyaranyapura, Bengaluru in the year 2004 with modern infrastructure and professionally trained staff. The trustees and Governing Council assure parents and students that no effort will be spared to ensure an excellent academic environment. The trust also established The Regency Pre-University College in the year 2010 at Vidyaranyapura, Bengaluru-97

Mission

The Regency PU College is a co-educational college with a very clear mission - not only to provide for quality education in arts, commerce and science but also to provide an education that is liberating, enriching and rooted in Indian values. One that provides holistic growth and cultural pluralism, which sensitizes the individuals to the needs of the marginalized, empower the students with skills necessary to earn a livelihood and the courage and the conviction needed to make a difference in lives of those around.

The College will provide education to all sections of the public in India irrespective of caste, creed and religion without any discrimination.

The College will keep pace with the changing times exploring new possibilities and expanding horizons.

Campus

The Regency PU College is located at #5/1, A.M.S. Extension, Vidyaranyapura, Bengaluru. The building is well designed with class rooms, science laboratories for each discipline, library and computer center, workshop for vocational subject, office, staff rooms and assembly area. The College also has play grounds and indoor games facilities. The campus is well connected and accessible by public transport.

Our Lecturers are all not just highly qualified but also skilled experts. They identify the capacity of each child and work on their strength and weaknesses. The result is always a glorifying success! We place great importance on the ability and professional competence of all our staff. Our Lecturers are dedicated and caring individuals who co ntinue to develop their teaching skills through training.

Curriculum

The College is affiliated to the Karnataka P.U.C Board, from the State government of Karnataka. The courses offered are Science, Commerce and Arta. Second language offered are Kannada, Hindi and Sanskrit.

Rules & Regulations

  1. The College expects students to maintain the highest standard of discipline, decorum, punctuality, neatness & responsible behaviour both in the class room and during co-curricular activities of the College.
  2. Students are answerable to the College authorities for their conduct both in and outside the college. Hence the misbehaviour in the streets and in public conveyance justifies disciplinary action.
  3. Every student should attend the College in the prescribed uniform.
  4. Students should refrain from activities which may disturb the orderly use of the College. Any breach of College rules will entail punishment such as suspension or termination.
  5. The students are expected to look after their belongings and are advised not to bring any valuables to the College. The college will not be responsible for any loss of money and valuables.
  6. Students are not allowed to wear any jewellery or costly watches.
  7. Any kind of damage caused by the student to the College property will have to be made good by the student.
  8. Students moving in the corridor and up and down the stairs must walk in SILENCE.
  9. Students should avoid littering the College premises and use the bins provided for the purpose.
  10. All students are expected to be present on the re-opening day, after each vacation. Absence will entail fine unless valid reasons are furnished in writing duly signed by the parents.
  11. Students absenting themselves for more than a month without sanction of leaving are liable to have their names stuck off their rolls.
  12. Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, insubordination, misbehavior, obscenity in any form and dishonesty are sufficient reasons for the termination of a student.
  13. Absence from any examination will ordinarly be allowed on medical grounds, supported by medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
  14. No leave is granted except on written application submitted at least a day in advance.
  15. Prior permission of the head of the institution is required to meet the Lecturer, if found necessary.

Admission & Withdrawal

  1. Admissions are made at the beginning of the academic year.
  2. No Student will be admitted without submitting the transfer certificate from the school last attended.
  3. Students from other states seeking admission are required to submit the Migration certificate and T.C. duly countersigned by the Assistant Education Officer/Block Education Officer at Bengaluru.
  4. The admission procedure starts with your picking up the Application form, filling it up and submitting it to the office at the right time. Admission will be granted after interacting with the student and parents.
